Rev. Mark K. Rogers 

Mark Rogers was born to Martin and Ruth Rogers in Barberton, Ohio on June 29, 1964. He was baptized and confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church (LC-MS) in Akron Ohio.  He has two sisters, Sharyn Hood and Dyana Parker, who reside in the Akron area and one brother, Ray Rogers, who is a pastor in Maryland.

Upon graduation from Norton High School in 1982, Mark attended Kent State University and was graduated in 1986.  He then attended Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He served his vicarage at Trinity Lutheran and Norwalk Lutheran Churches in Onekama, Michigan from 1990-1991.  He was graduated from seminary in 1992.

Mark was called to serve Trinity Lutheran Church of Bend, Oregon as associate pastor. He served at Trinity from August 1992 to January 1998.

Mark then colloquialized into the Evangelical Lutheran Synod and was called to serve Pinehurst Lutheran Church in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  He served Pinehurst from February 1998 to July 2007.  From October 2007 to September 2010 Mark was employed at Wal-Mart in Wadsworth, Ohio.

On October 3, 2010, Mark was installed as pastor of Scriptural Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  He worked part-time at Culvers Restaurant in Cape Girardeau while serving at the church.  He served Grace Lutheran Church of Weston, OH from December 2014 to June 2015 and then returned to serve Scriptural Lutheran in July 2015.
